Species Maintenance

Very few species are making it into the UK caused at least partly by restrictions following Brexit. The species we do have need action to help preserve them within our hobby. We are asking members to assist by supplying details of the species they are keeping and updating the list when things change.

Traffic Light Status Codes

GREEN – Population stable
e.g. plenty of eggs, fry and/or adults confident to maintain the population into another generation
YELLOW – Population at risk
e.g. 5-6 fry not yet sexed out, a pair of adults not laying eggs
RED – Population under threat – Single sex
unable to maintain the population without intervention
