The 4th Nothobranchius Symposium – CANCELLED
EVENT CANCELLED – Rescheduled for 3rd to 4th June 2021
The Nothobranchius Symposium is organised every second year and serves as a platform for researchers with an interest in all aspects of Nothobranchius biology, from biomedical to ecological research to meet and discuss ideas.
We welcome:
- Contributions on any aspect of Nothobranchius biology, using the turquoise killifish (N. furzeri) and other Nothobranchius species as models.
- Contributions on other annual killifish taxa and on topics related to the killifish-based research agenda.
- Those considering using killifish for their future research.
The number of participants is typically 100-200, making the symposia sufficiently small for establishing social contacts and sufficiently large to accommodate all aspects of Nothobranchius biology.
Specific themes discussed in previous symposia included: Genomics, Transcriptomics and Transgenesis, Proteomics, Epigenetics, Cell Biology, Diapause and Regeneration, Anatomy and Pathology, Ecotoxicology, Metabolism and Behaviour, Ecology and Evolution.
Previous symposia were held in:
- 2018 Cologne, Germany
- 2016 Jena, Germany
- 2014 Pisa, Italy
