Invitation to the 49th Exhibition of the KFN 2024
Killi Fish Netherlands is organizing its 49th INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION from Friday, March 22
through Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the
Hotel/Partycenter De Schildkamp

We hope you will participate in our exhibition again this year and send in your fish. The fish will be judged
by international judges. The results of the exhibition will count for the European Championship.
The different judging groups are:
1 North American and European species.
2 Rivulus, Laimosemion, Atlantirivulus, Anablepsoides, Melanorivulus, Prorivulus and Cryptolebias
3 Fluorescent eyes
4 Other South American species
5 Nothobranchius species
6 Fundulopanchax, Pronothobranchius and Fundulosoma
7 Aphyosemion and Chromaphyosemion, Diapteron and Fenerbahce
8 Species from the Aphyosemion elegans and A. calliurum group as well as A. elberti and A. exiguum
9 Species from the Aphyosemion striatum, A. ogoense, A. herzogi, A. cameronense and A. coeleste group as
well as A. bamilekorum
10 Callopanchax, Archiaphyosemion and Scriptaphyosemion
11 Epiplatys, Aplocheilus and Pachypanchax.

There are three prizes for each group, plus a prize for the “best breeding group” in each group. There are two
special prizes, the first is provided by our former member Ton Hannink and is for the “best Diapteron”. The
second is the Ruud Wildekamp prize. This prize is for the “best highly endangered killi” in the wild. Finally,
there are also prizes for the “Best foreign entry” and the “Best fish of the show”

We kindly ask you to submit your fish before March 18, 2024. This is easier for us. We have room for 528
entries and have no idea how many fish to expect. Fish can be submitted until Friday, March 22, 2024 at 5:00 pm.

All fish submitted will be auctioned on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

Program:
Friday, March 22, 2024: judging from 19:30 to 22:00 hours
Saturday, March 23, 2024: Exhibition open from 09:30 to 18:00
Lectures from 13:00 to 15:00
Extra fish sale after the lecture from 16:00 to 18:00
Dinner and evening party from 19:30
Sunday 24 March 2024: Exhibition open from 09:00 to 10:30
Auction from 11:00

The lecture will be given by Tom van Dooren: The genus Austrolebias – a current state of affairs.
On Saturday evening our “Dutch Evening”; will take place from 19:30, a maximum of 100 people can attend.
This year we will again have a buffet. Do you eat vegetarian or have a special diet? Let us know and we will
take it into account. Please let us know so we can take this into account.

 

The price is € 40 per person.
The price for a double room is € 125 plus tourist tax per person. For a single room the amount is € 87,50
plus tourist tax per person. The prices include breakfast. Your dog is welcome. However, there is a surcharge
of € 15 per day for extra cleaning of the room.
All rooms have a telephone, television, internet connection and a safe.
We have 15 single rooms and 25 double rooms in option. If you want to be sure of a room in “The Shield
Camp” you can reserve your room in advance.
